What is a SiriusPathway®?

SiriusPathways® is more than just e-learning courses. Each SiriusPathway® is divided up into two or three key competency areas.  The concepts and skills needed to master each competency are taught through a series of short, high-definition videos.

Each key concept has a set of interactive tools and templates you can use to practice the learning, apply the frameworks and models, and customize that learning to your marketing efforts.


How do organizations use SiriusPathways® to upskill their teams?

We will work with you to determine the right curriculum for your team and their needs. Then, we’ll help you make an action plan and timeline that helps you meet your goals. Find more information about some solutions that worked for others here.



Are there certifications offered?

Yes. Our SiriusPathways® is robust, comprehensive courses, and we offer certification once you complete and pass the exit assessments with a cumulative score of 90 or greater showing that you have demonstrated proficiency in the concepts. Our certificates are one of the very few that validate b-to-b marketing skills at an industry-standard level of proficiency.


Can I see a preview or demo of a SiriusPathway® before I buy?

How long do I have access to the course?

You have access to any SiriusPathway® you purchase for one year from the date of purchase.


Which SiriusPathway® is right for me?

Our catalog is organized into marketing areas. Open your marketing area of interest to review which courses are available to you. How long will it take me to complete a SiriusPathway®?

Most of the courses take between 6-8 hours to complete, with some running a little longer or a little shorter. Your level of experience in the subject area will also impact the time it takes to complete the course. As a general rule, recommend dedicating 30-60 minutes a week to completing a SiriusPathway®. What is a learning token?

Learning tokens are a digital currency that grants you enrollment into a SiriusDecisions Learning course of your choosing. One learning token is equal to one course-enrollment for one year. The clock on the year duration starts ticking when you receive the learning token - i.e. the learning token and the course enrollment you use it or have the same end date. Tokens make it easy to purchase a generic "license" to courses without committing to a specific course. This enables managers to purchase courses for their team if they so choose. This also makes it easy to transfer ownership of the token from person to person at your organization.

How do I use my learning tokens?

You can find your learning tokens on the Learning homepage inside the SiriusDecisions portal (if you have learning-only access, you’ll be directed here when you log in; if you have other services with us, you can find the learning home page under Resources > Learning in the portal).

Learning tokens can be transferred to other people at your organization (click on the transfer tokens button on the learning page) or used to enroll yourself into courses (select the course you want to take from the catalog on the left, click the enroll button). Once you transfer a learning token successfully, the token receiver will get an email from letting them know how to log in and access their learning token.

How do I access my courses and/or learning tokens?

Learning tokens and course enrollments can be found inside of the SiriusDecisions portal on the learning home page. If you have access to only our learning services, you’ll be directed to this page upon logging in. If you have other SiriusDecisions services, click on Resources > Learning to find the learning home page.

If you've just purchased a learning token through your account manager or on our website,, you will receive access to your products when you receive a welcome email from This welcome email will tell you how to set a password for the SiriusDecisions portal and will tell you who your account manager is.

Customers who purchased on our website with a credit card should note that it can take up to one to three business days after your purchase to receive the welcome email. The welcome email will be sent to the email address you used when you purchased the learning tokens.


I can’t find my welcome email. What should I do?

Our welcome emails are sent to normal east coast business hours Monday through Friday. The emails can sometimes get stuck in spam, so please check your spam filter. If you need to have your welcome email resent to you please contact your account manager or Or you can follow the steps below to set your password without the welcome email:


I am having trouble accessing the SiriusDecisions portal - error message or expired account.

What should I do when I complete a SiriusDecisions Learning course?

First, pat yourself on the back! Next, find your certificate to download in the SiriusDecisions portal underneath your course title on the learning home page. For step-by-step instructions on sharing your accomplishment or finding that certificate, please click: Are you SiriusDecisions Certified?


I work for a tax-exempt organization. How do I ensure I will not pay tax on my purchase?

You will need to register for an account with Shopify. The link to do so can be found in the upper right-hand corner of our shop. Once you have done so, please contact us.

From there, we have to place a setting on your account, which will make your future purchases tax exempt.
