Advanced Measurement SiriusPathway™

About SiriusPathways™

SiriusPathways™ start with expert content from SiriusDecisions best-in-class research. We then organize that content into competencies that cover the key things that someone in a job role or functional job area needs to know in order to succeed. That means that your success is measured by a mastery of a set of skills rather than how long it takes you to watch a video, or how well you do on a vocabulary test. It also means the content is brain-adaptive and flexible which ensures that it will stick with our learners.

SiriusPathways™ recognize that learners come with varied backgrounds, skill levels, and learning styles. Someone with several years of experience in Marketing might want to skip the first competency and move immediately to its assessment, whereas someone new to Marketing might want to complete each activity in each module of the first competency before attempting the assessment. Various learning styles are respected by our See It, Read It, Apply It model. You can see examples of this model in this preview.

Each competency ends with an assessment that uses business case scenarios to apply the concepts in that competency. Learners must receive a cumulative score of 90 or greater on a SiriusPathway™ to become SiriusDecisions certified.

SiriusPathway™ Introduction

See It: An Introduction to the Aligned Measurement Process (AMP) Model

The SiriusDecisions AMP Model is a three-phase, seven-stage process for developing marketing measurement using the principles of the SiriusDecisions AMP Model. Here, we'll provide you with a high-level overview of the activities and deliverables across three phases of measurement development: strategy, execution and evolution.

SiriusPathway™ Competency 1: Developing Your Measurement Plan

Module 1.1: The Strategy Phase Overview

See It: The Strategy Phase Overview

Many b-to-b marketing leaders and practitioners wish for a templated, one-size-fits-all answer to reporting needs, but effective measurement must be customized to fit an organization's plans and objectives. In this activity, we'll provide an overview of the Strategy Phase of the AMP Model, which is used to develop the inputs for the Aligned Measurement Framework across the Initiation, Discovery and Alignment stages.

Read It: Marketing Measurement Initiatives: Defining the Types
In this brief, we define the most common types of marketing-led measurement initiatives and their characteristics.
Apply It: Project Charter Template
The project charter crystallizes the goals of the initiative and raises awareness of the project as well as the time and effort required from team members. It's a required element for focusing a measurement effort, establishing authority for the project and is used to solicit buy-in. Complete the project charter document, describing a needed measurement initiative for your organization.
